Hi all, First off, sorry for the delay in getting news out to y'all....who knew making a movie would take up every free second I had in my day (and night)?!? Second, huge props to Matt (aka Decayedface) from this here board as he came out from Canada to audition for us. He just killed it (and brought us a gift, even)...sadly, as movies go, we ended up casting someone else (it really came down to a size issue with "Dicky"). He was great though and once we get the Edward Lee catalogue going on the big screen, he'll be a big part of things. So, where does that leave us? Well, we have a just fantastic cast in place now, we have some amazing locations locked down and we start filming in less than two weeks!! Oh yeah, I spent a couple hours meeting with the incredible Monster FX and what they have in store for The Bighead and his initial victim is just so cool and so brutal...I wish I could show ya the picture....but that'd ruin the surprise. We have a couple of pictures up at the facebook page and will be adding more and more stuff as filming approaches. I didn't want to wait any longer in getting you folks this news, though!! Thanks so much to everyone here on this board (and Lee's fans in general)...you guys have been supporting us from before day one and are the main reason we are making this flick. It better be NC-17 and a cool looking big head!!! HOW CAN YOU MAKE A MOVIE OUT OF THIS AND NOT HAVE IT X-RATED!!!!???? PLEASE DO IT RIGHT! THANKS! |

Come on now, Micah....do you think I'd show my face around here if we were gonna make a PG-13 version of Lee's classic?! That'd be a big no....and the main reason we had to make it outside of the studio world! I'd love to show ya the Bighead, too...it's pretty damn fantastic and has Lee's approval....you guys are gonna dig it!! Filming starts this Sunday, keep an eye on the Facebook site for updates and I'll try and check in here very soon to share some stuff from the set! Cheers, |
