Wow, the opening of THe Chosen was cool :v
I thought it related to the opening scene of Basic Instinct, but was way cooler, much more explicit.
Thought it was highly erotic, and i couldnt help of picturing it and have a great smile on my face.

You're very gifted writer, amazing how you can write in such a style that I, a Dutchman, can fully understand every detail, although English is not my mayor language.

Love the book :p

Thanks very much for your encouraging words! Hell, I can't even REMEMBER the opening scene of Basic Instinct but I suppose I could have been influenced by it if the movie came out before my novel. I did see the flick in the theater mainly because at the time I was very interested in Joe Esterhuaz scripts.

Take care!

The opening scene in basic instinct was with Sharon Stone killing a guy with an icepick :).
She was naked, sitting atop of a man tied to the bed.
Gorgious woman in that film and in Total Recall.

Although i think it was Sharon.
The film always keeps me guessing.
Is she or isn't she the killer.
Was a real nice surprise.

Oh, yeah, that was Sharon Stone. I just saw her in a far more recent movie with Dennis Quaid; the movie was awful (house haunted by snakes or some suc0 but Stone did a great job with the role. Quaid, on the other hand, didn't!

PS--Oh, and I think her very first movie was Wes Craven's Deadly Blessing and she was about 18!
