How interesting! Is April 21 in the Netherlands like Halloween here? As for gory flicks, one of my favorites remains Dead Alive. Oh, I saw one the other night that I rented on cable called Theater Bizarre; it was an anothology film and most of the stories were either very good or impressive in some way. One of the pieces was called "Sweets." The story didn't make any sense but the acting was extraordinary and it was really gross, especially the "gut-job" in the end. And if you haven't seen Zombie Strippers with Jenna Jameson, check it out. It's cheesy hilarious pulp horror with some great gore effects. Take care! Edward Lee |

It's a yearly festival, two weeks, with horrormovies, scifi, documentary's. Night of terror is the main attraction. The theatre is filled with jason's, freddy's and pinhead's. Always 4 films, one is a surprise. I've seen Zombie strippers, quite funny actually. Nice lady ![]() Braindead, cool, just like evil dead. Love his work, he is making a sequal to tintin. Best horrormovies are the indie horrorfilms. Am not to fond of big budget flicks. |

And though this probably isn't gory, Brian Keene's Ghoul is on this Friday, April 13th on Chiller Network!! This book is one of my favorites from Brian Keene, so I am looking forward to see how the movie is! Konnie |

have seen martyrs and it's one of the most shocking movies i have ever seen. antichrist was nice, less shocking than expected, but a very good movie indeed. french horrormovies are far more shocking than the big budget flicks. switchblade romance is a killer too, |

Check "Inside" - also French and it makes "Martyrs" look like a family flick. If you are ready for REAL hardcore stuff, try to find Japanese "Flesh Meat Doll" or "Guinea Pig" series. Italian "Buio Omega" and "Cannibal Holocaust" will also make your day. If you want independent/amateur stuff, German "Violent Shit" is worth checking out. And I'm sure that our American friends will agree that mockumentary series "August Underground" are pretty fucked up. |
