Minotauress is one of my favourite books by anyone. My introduction to Ed Lee and I couldn't have picked a better way to start.

Thanks for the kind word, John, and, postmant666, I'm glad you dug both pieces. Incidently, Dean Lohan is based quite a bit on a real guy named Matt Johnson, once the owner of Obsidian Books. A cool guy AND he really cranked the horn off cattle as a teenager! Thanks for your support!

PS--your screen name is the second 666 I've encountered today. Just hours ago I was buying some stuff for my mother (whose in a nursing home) and the total with tax was $6.66. Hmm...

I have to agree with Postmant666. I enjoyed the Minotauress but enjoyed Horncranker more. I thought that it Minotauress had a real creepy feel to it, wasn't a fan of the end demon, I know many people were but i thought it was too comedic after such a scary build up. Although Dicky and Balls are two real stand up guys and I thought they were much funnier here than in The Bighead.

Cockring was a blast to read I love anything with M. Hayes in he is a legend. And I never knew you could kill a Werewolf with that method!!

Is there any chance of any more early Dicky and Balls tales? Only Mr Lee could answer that one.

Oh,it's more than likely Dicky and Balls will appear in the future, perhaps their childhoods, or, well, maybe the Devil decides to give them a little walking around time on earth since they've both been in Hell since the end of Bighead! This won't happen for several years, though, cos I still gotta 6 more contracted books to write!

6 more!!! Is one of those Header 3?

6 more new Edward Lee books I can't wait! Are these planned out already or is it watch this space?
Any sneek peaks or hints at at ideas?

Is that with one company or various?

God how many questions in one post.

Did a few more chapters in Witch Water today. Love it.

These 6 books are already extensively outlined and ready to go (all will first be hardcover editions via Bloodletting), and, yes, Header 3 will be one of the six. As for the other five, one will be called The Guest House, hardcore, contemporary, my rebellion/take on the Blair Witch/Paranormal Activity device; 2 will be M.R. James pastiches; one will be, probably, a contemporary sequel to Lovecraft's Colour out of Space (and will star Hazel (with a bad headache) from Haunter of the Threshold; and another will be one of several possible projects, perhaps a Vinchetti Mob story, or a tech-horror=gross out "thriller" based on a dream I had. Hell, and I've still got several more years of ideas after these are done, all ready to go whenever I get the time to write them.

29 years of professional writing, and I'm STILL not burned out! I'm a very lucky writer!

Best,
Edward Lee

Wow I feel moist and dirty just thinking about some of those ideas!

Header 3 goes without saying, it is already at the top of my most wanted list, The Guest House sounds awesome, And more stories featuring Hazel!!! is that poor girl not worn out? or was she just warming up?. But Vinchetti Mob is the most pleasing, any of your work connected to him I have loved.

Keep up the great work

All the best BHBS

I'm definitely looking forward to the 2 M.R. James pastiches. I have both the collections you reccomended but have yet to read them yet. I can't wait for Header 3(Heads), either!

OT: I am all set for KillerCon in september. I can't wait to finally meet you and all the other great writers your books have led me, too!

Damn, there's one title I completely forgot about and it's one I probably will write: White House Gothic. I think I've mentioned it here in the past but it will be a full blown novelization of my short story Haunted House but will also have LOTS of new twists and material. I've put it off, though, until the next Presidential election: I gotta know who wins!
