I just ordered Mangled Meat and Necro Files: 2 Decades of Extreme Horror, which this doesn't come out until next month. There is one Ed Lee story called Xipe. Has anyone read this story or this a new one? This book also has some other very cool authors (O'rourke, Wrath, etc), so I hope this is a good read. I already know I'll enjoy Xipe, even though I have no idea how to pronounce it!!  Konnie |

Yes, I believe it's in Ushers and was reprinted several times long ago. It's actually a very early story by me; I remember how thrilled I was to originally sell it for $75 to a cool, off the wall small press mag called Barrel-house. And, Wetbones, is quite right: Xipe is a Toltec god (with whom I took some liberties with!) Edward LEe |

Loved this story!! My favorite so far in Necro Files (I admit I am a bit biased)! However, I have enjoyed every story I have read so far, and I am about half way through. I did read Xipe first, though!
