I saw the Leisure version, as well as the Advanced copies of the hardcover going around. I was wondering what the status is though for the pre-ordered hardcover copies. Thanks in advance. Pete |

Sorry,Pete, I wish I had some solid info on the hc preorders or any aspect of its release but I don't. It will likely be awhile, I suspect. But thanks for your support very much. The minute I get any news I'll post it here. Thanks! Edward Lee |

Anyone have an update on this? I ordered it before I ordered Dunwich, and it looks like I'll be getting Dunwich first. |

Sorry about the delay; it seems to happen a lot to me. I wish I could tell you when the hc was coming out but I still don't know. When I do, I'll let ya know immediately. Thanks, and take care, Edward Lee |

Any news on this? My wife ordered it for me 2 years ago as a present. Any info would be helpful. Thanks. |

About every 6 months, I go to the CD website and email Brian about the release date. And each time it is in that season's batch of books for the printer. Yeah... When was this book announced anyway? I respect CD and the people who work there seem amazingly friendly, but damn are they not true to their word. I assume being a publisher that tackles so many projects does get behind from time to time. We are talking how many years we are waiting for Lucifer's Lottery now? Anyway, no news. Sorry. Bob |

It shouldn't take that long in between announcing it and getting it out there. Again, I saw the advanced reader copies on Ebay, so if they can get the arc's printed, why can't they get the actual books done? We're talking years here, not months. Also, I recall that In Laymon's Terms took HOW many years until it got published? It just shouldn't be that way. I'm sure enough were pre-ordered by individuals, as well as specialty shops to cover the costs. |

I totally respect Cemetery Dance for publishing Richard Laymon when nobody else would in America. That's the right fucking stuff. At some point since then they found the middle of the road and firmly stayed there. I have seen Freeman give out plenty of mis-truths. Him blaming Laymon's daughter for all the delays on In Laymon's Terms was a real low point. |

Folks: yes, I understand entirely. Damn, this book has been delayed so SO LONG I forgot there ever AS a hardcover! I've heard similarly that the book will be published soon. I'll inquire again and get back to you. But thanks, everyone, for your patience. Believe me, I want the book out too--then I'll gt the 2nd half of my advance! But all jokes aside, I really do think it's a good book so thanks for hanging in there. Best Edward Lee |

Necro published a trade paperback edition in June, 2013. I received mine in mid-June. |

Has anyone read LUCIFER'S LOTTERY and THE SENARY and can tell me how different the two are? |

Post subject: | Re: Lucifer's Lottery update? |
The Senary is a 30,000 word novella that was originally published by Necro. Lucifer's Lottery is a 90,000 word full length novel in which The Senary is a major subplot but much else goes on. LL is the last of my Infernal installments. Thanks for your interest! Best Edward Lee |

Thanks for the clarification, Ed! I read THE SENARY in INFERNALLY YOURS and thought it was a ton of fun so I will probably check out the longer novel. |
