Now my Greek lettered is in Memphis. WTF??? I live in Connecticut! It goes from Michigan to Iowa to Georgia to Tennesse. I reckon next it'll be on a slow boat to China.

Don Koish runs everything there by himself, and it is a hard business to run. He has done an AWESOME job so far... but the lack of input or info on the website since March 09 is kind of scary to readers like me. Especially in these financially uncertain times. I'll assume that he is keeping up with orders for his in stock merchandise (Master of the Moors, Deeper, A Whisper of Southern Lights, The Everlasting). |

I had a long conversation with Don a couple of weeks ago and NEP exists and things are in the work with the release of some older lettered editions, and new orders. Don did tell me he would get over here sometime soon and post some updates. Hopefully that will happen soon. |

I believe you. Like a lot of people, I just want the reassurance. Mostly because I have heard that some of his contracts expired without a publication happening, and that can be a scary thing for a reader and fan. |

I've written their Webmaster email and their Information email notes about an omission/error on their site, and I've heard nothing back from either for over 6 months... and the omission/error is still there. I don't think anyone is holding the ball over there right now. |

I emailed a bit with Don a couple weeks ago. He's still hurting but I believe we will see a return of NEP by the end of the year. Sure hope so. I do wish he could find a way to start communicating again with his followers but I am willing to wait a while longer. |

A person on another board stated that Necessary Evil Press has closed its doors. As far as I know this person has no inside knowledge.... So, was this just a guess on their part? Is Necessary Evil Press going to come back? |

Got my lettered of The Everlasting a couple of weeks back now. A fine job, too. And a damn fine day to see a new NEP release arrive. For the Newman, I will confirm that things are moving there (ARCs are being readied). It has been edited and will need to undergo a final round of copy editing, layout, and then printing. So Mark, this is shuffling through the steps, now that some of backlog has been cleared with delivery of The Everlasting lettered. Hopefully Don will drop by and give a more concrete answer. Official announcement of this for pre-order will come once the book is closer to being ready (Don never did like to announce or take pre-orders too far in advance). |
