For those of you who haven't heard, Dark Scribe Magazine has announced the nominations for the first annual Black Quill Awards. These awards are like a "People's Choice" award for horror fiction and can be voted by any fan who wishes to. The nominations were announced a couple of days ago and I was very honored (and more than a little surprised) to see that Placeholders is on the list for best "Small Press Chill," which covers all books published in the small press.
