Post subject: | Catching up on Leisure horror situation? Pls help! |
I dont come here often and I know I am wayyy behind the times here, but I am trying to figure out the latest since Leisure horror stopped printing and switched their books to E books. I had read shortly after that happened, that in April or May of 2011 they would go back to printing their books again, including titles like Ed Lee's Lucifer Lottery, etc. Can someone tell me if this is true or have our favorite authors moved on to other publishers in which case it will be a bitch to find out who has gone where and how to buy their books. Thanks for any info on this. |

Leisure is still sending out standard paperbacks to their book club members, however they are from other publishers. They have been putting their back catalog on ebooks, as well as some of the novels that didn't make it into print before the fall. Most of the bigger selling authors have mentioned that they have moved on, but a few have said they will stay. If you go to Brian Keene's blog site (not his forum) he goes into some depth about the whole Leisure episode. Same with J.F. Gonzalez's website. Leisure says they will be starting back up soon with trade editions (oversized) paperbacks soon and will continue with ebooks. You also should visit their site to get their take on the whole situation. |
