DARK DISCOVERIES STORE EXPOSURE INCREASED:
I mentioned towards the start of the year that due to the popularity of the new look and direction, we've expanded our store placement considerably. Ingram is our main distributor to Barnes & Noble and many other stores and newsstands, but we added on Disticor in Canada for a couple hundred more stores (including Chapters) and starting with issue #16 we will back in over 100 Borders through Source/Interlink. With our 4th smaller distributor Ubiquity we're in almost 800 stores now in the US, Canada and overseas. So if you don't see Dark Discoveries in a store near you, please consider requesting it.

And if you're an author, book or comic publisher, production company, retail store, etc. please consider advertising with us. Our pricing is competitive and your product will be seen by 4000 - 5000 Horror/Science Fiction/Fantasy fans. Drop me a line at: [email protected] for ad rates and information.

SUBMISSIONS UPDATE:
Just a quick note on where we are at with the submission pile. We've just added on two more readers to replace our departing one. Our first reader, Todd Banks, helped us out a couple of years ago and is back for more fun. Douglas Wright is our second addition and is a great up-and-coming writer and has been a DD subscriber since day one. Welcome to both. And thank you to everybody who volunteered. I really appreciate it!

As to the status, we're still working on getting caught up. We're a bit behind due to the large amount of subs received in October and November, but we're currently working our way through December now. So not too far off. If you sent something during or after this time, please hold off on checking just yet if you can. I've been innundated with queries and it takes away from my reading and other work on DD to respond to all of them.

We'll keep on accepting submissions until June 1st and then we'll be closing the doors to help catch up on anything left in the stack. Then we'll re-open again in October.
