Just a quick note - I do the Quarterly Column over at Chizine - and my new one just went up. It's SUPPOSED to be titled (and may be by the time you get there, if they fix it) "Just Because the Dead Babies Have Horns Does NOT Mean it's a Story." Currently they've called it "BURNING BRIDGES" Also - I've been updating Emoticon Flash fiction again at THE NecronomICON - today and DNW -DNW[/url] |

A very good column Dave! Its funny, I had recently read in Pic's "Welcome To Hell" about putting dreams to paper and here you go writing a column about it and giving an example of how it worked for you. Thanks for your thoughts and the example. Tt |

And of course, all dreams, and stories, are different. Sometimes all it takes for a dream to work its way in is a single chilling image and the memory of how it felt in the dream. I wrote another story not long ago that sold to the defunct SURREAL magazine, and then had published right here at Horror World in May of 2007 - "Fear of Flying," that involved a dream I had only once...mixed with other dreams involving flying. Wow, that just reminded me that this story could have been collected in my last collection and seen wider readership. Hmmmm D |
