Do not read Lightning. The premise was so ridiculous, I actually laughed out loud. Honestly, the sheer stupidity behind that book put me off Koontz for a long time. My issue with Koontz is he's billed as a horror writer when in reality, he's not. His work has some supernatural elements, but by far, he's really more mainstream than anything else. |

I remember reading the first one, but don't remember a whole lot about it other than me thinking I should never eat sugar donuts after I finished it. I never saw the movie and after seeing some previews of it on one of the movie channels, I had even less of a desire to watch it. Tt |

Cool...I actually knew this through my wife. She worked numerous years at a bookstore and used to read V.C. Andrews when she was a bit younger. She was the one who introduced me to her when we suggested books to read to each other. I have only read FLOWERS IN THE ATTIC and it was ok. Great opening scene... |

I have intensity and haven't read it yet. My favorite is Hideaway: something about a serial killer building a weird structure out of human bones honks my horn. Honks my horn? Don't ask. ![]() |
