I used to love the G.I. Joe comicbooks, cartoons and figures. It looks like they've done a good job with the casting here to so far. I'll go see it.

Hopefully it will be better than that other movie that was also a staple of 80's boyhood: Transformers. |

Snake Eyes looks awesome. He was one of my favourites. Between myself and my little brother, we had a ton of figures. We also used to rent videotapes of the cartoon movies all the time. Never really did get into the comics much though, but I did have a few. |

Thought you were gonna say Ghoul by Brian Keene, heh.. Oddly, I never really got into G.I. Joe. I was a tad sheltered, methinks.  One show I really liked was My Pet Monster.. I think I remember seeing a terrible live action made for tv pile of drivel based on that. Maybe not.

I like that Ray Park is playing Snake Eyes. He is a real amrtial Artist (he was Darth Maul from Star Wars Episode 1, The Headless Horseman when he didn't have Christopher Walken's head in Sleepy Hollow, and Toad in the first X-Men movie). They have Mr. Echo from LOST also which is cool.
