My hardcover of Clickers 2 signed by both Keene and Gonzales was listed on EBay one time at $ 500.00. I'm not sure if its worth that much now. Tt |

I also have the original paperback versions of The Adversary Cycle of novels signed by F. Paul Wilson. Unsigned, some of them go for about $50.00. Tt |

Exactly HHF. Grandma and I shared a passion for cooking and when she passed the book was passed to me. I treasure it and if there was ever a reason to evacuate my house that recipe book would be the first thing I grabbed. It is priceless to me. |

I also had the handwritten recipes of Mr. Hello's deceased mother. His sister took it to make copies one day and returned me copies of it. And not the whole thing either. It still makes me sad. But on an emotional level one of my most treasured books is called A curious lobster. Definately written for a adult but meant for children. It is a tale of a lobsters life and adventures. A excellent story. I think it was written in the 40's. |

Hellolost. You reminded me of two other books I treasure from my teaching days. The Giving Tree and The Missing Piece, both written by the late, great Shel Silverstein. |

Where The Sidewalk Ends and A Light In The Attic...two more classics. |

Where the Sidewalk Ends There is a place where the sidewalk ends And before the street begins, And there the grass grows soft and white, And there the sun burns crimson bright, And there the moon-bird rests from his flight To cool in the peppermint wind. Let us leave this place where the smoke blows black And the dark street winds and bends. Past the pits where the asphalt flowers grow We shall walk with a walk that is measured and slow, And watch where the chalk-white arrows go To the place where the sidewalk ends. Yes we'll walk with a walk that is measured and slow, And we'll go where the chalk-white arrows go, For the children, they mark, and the children, they know The place where the sidewalk ends. Shel Silverstein |

He was the greatest. My students always loved his stories and poems. All my nieces and nephews received copies of his books from me when they were small. I'll bet most of them still have them. |
