Due to financial constraints, I can't attend this year. I got hit with a huge car bill last month which used up my plane ticket money
I just cancelled my hotel reservation this morning

Sorry you can't make it, Nanci. Maybe I'll see you at Horrorfind in August? Ttzuma, the dates for WHC 2008 are March 27 - March 30, which is Thursday through Sunday. On the Saturday night, the Horror Writers Association have their Bram Stoker Awards Banquet, which is open to the public (watching the awards presentation is free, but if you want to come to the dinner too, it costs about $65 bucks I think). Gene O'Neill and I are presenting the Stoker Award in the Long Fiction catagory that night. And yes, about 400 people will likely be there in attendance. The website for more info is here: www.whc2008.org if you want to check it out. Huge Horror Fan, I wil be all over Ontario this Summer signing. I'll be posting a list when I can get some more things confirmed. I have been asked to be one of the featured writers at this years Canadian Book Expo in Toronto this June 15-16, at the Convention Centre, as well as a guest writer at the Rue Morgue Festival of Fear in August. That one will be in Toronto too, and I think it will be Brian Keene and I attending that one representing Leisure Books. Not 100% sure on Brian yet, but I will definitely be there. I'll also be at the Word On The Street Festival in September, if you ever attend that one. It's free and usually a lot of fun. Bests, Gord |
