Al is the author "Horrorween" (Leisure Books), "Queen of Mars" (ACE 2006), "Sebastian of Mars" (ACE 2005), "Hallow's Eve" (Cemetary Dance HC 2004 and Leisure PB 2004), "Hornets and Others" (Cemetary Dance 2004), "The Pumpkin Boy" (Endeavor Press 2004), "Toybox" (Leisure 2003), "Orangefield" (Cemetary Dance 2002), and "Skeletons" (Bantam 1992). His short stories have appeared in many genre classics. He's also the editor of "999" (Harper 2001). grew up in Tennessee. He is most known for his work in illustration, which appears in books of fiction, nonfiction, textbooks, young adult fiction and children's books. His awards in the illustration field include the World Fantasy Award and four Chesley Awards. As a writer, he has sold short fiction, nonfiction and three fiction novels. |
