Hilarious stuff. Although despite the awful cover, Bad Voltage is a brilliant novel and one of the most underrated cyberpunk books ever written. Jonathan Littell was barely out of his teens when he wrote it, and the story captures the spirit of adolescent rebellion like few books I've ever read. The unusual setting in and below the streets of Paris only adds to the verisimilitude and makes the story even more distinctive. |
