I actually get why they did that. Vampire chick is a survivor of domestic abuse and has done it to reclaim her body. (She's also an attorney and a domestic abuse advocate.) Some of the others have recovered from serious illness or suffer some kind of skin disease. I've already decided when and where and what my first tattoo will be. |
