The Third Floor hit 20,000 US Kindle sales yesterday. I'm still in awe that, after 20-some years at this, something has connected so well with readers. 90 5-star reviews vs. 7 1-star reviews. I like those odds. Even more, during the last Sergio Martinez fight one of the commentators mentioned 15,000 people in attendance and I thought, "Wow, more people have bought my book than are at that fight." It's an amazing feeling and I have to thank everyone who has helped the book along the way because this goes so far beyond anything I'd even dreamed possible when I decided out of the blue one night at work to self publish this 10-year-old novel i hadn't looked at in 5 years or more.
