Hi It's been a while since the last one of these, but I've been busy, both at work, and writing. Writing News ___________ Since the turn of the year I've written a novel, four feature length screenplays and three short screenplays. The novel, a horror/disaster novel set in 17th and 20th century New York, is with a New York agent for review. The screenplays are where I've seen most action so far. I've just sold an option on a supernatural thriller feature and will be meeting the producer and director sometime soon to firm up the script and see what happens next. Another feature script is in pre-production in the States, and I have three short scripts sold and in various stages of pre-production. Hopefully they'll all see the light of day at some point over the next year or so, and I'll be able to sit back in the sofa with a beer in my hand and watch the words "Screenplay by William Meikle" roll up the screen Numerous other fingers are sitting in different pies, but I'm still waiting... more news as I get it.
