Later on (maybe even months or years from now), when there is some emotional distance between you and the present, your perspective will change, and you'll make some kind of peace with the situation. So yeah, just hang in there. It does take a while, in fact, the hurt never really goes away completely. And for a variety of reasons, I don't think we really want it to.
