Hey Tom. You probably have done this before but could you provide the order of your "Self" novels and short stories, if any. Thanks!! |

1. "Neverdead" 2. "Bury St. Edmonds" 3. "Maleficia" 4. "Paindance" 5. "Eye-biting and Other Displays of Affection" 6. ""Like a Hell-Broth" 7. "Sorrow Laughed." 8. "Go Back to the Church" 9. "A Lower Deep" 10. "Mount of the Oath" 11. "Myself Am Hell" A LOWER DEEP (novel) contains the last three novellas, which comprise a single larger story. |

Ok. I am going to do some delving on my shelves. I have everything prose-wise with Piccirilli on the spine. It looks like some or most of these are shorter works. I will try to come up with the publications they are in. If I get it done I will put it on this thread and over at the Cellar, where everyone spends 3/4 of their time reading Picself1! |

Well, that was pretty easy. All of this work is included in the short story collection DEEP INTO THAT DARKNESS PEERING with the execption of the last story which is in A LOWER DEEP. I notice that the stories are in a different order in the collection than you listed here. Is that an issue at all? I also notice that I have three copies of A LOWER DEEP here in my collection. One is a part of the complete set of Delirium's Dark Essentials. Another is labeled as PC-damaged with no damage to it. Thr third would be my keeper copy if I happened to sell the collection for mucho dinero. The queston would be: do you think I might be a tad obsessed? |

The "Self" stories aren't in any particular order outside of the final three, i.e., A LOWER DEEP. Those form a single cohesive storyline, whereas the others are all meant to be read on their own. TTZ: THE COLDEST MILE has getaway driver Chase trying to score a weakened mob family so he can get enough cash to go after his grandfather Jonah, who is down in Florida retrieving his infant daughter from her foster family. When Chase eventually gets down to FL he finds a bloodbath and goes in search of the old man in the hopes of saving the little girl. When they eventually meet up, things aren't as they seem and Chase is suddenly confronted by further unforeseen troubles that he needs to sort out first. As you might guess, there are also more dark family secrets that rear their ugly heads. |
