Hey, Tom. Wow, powerful blog about this guy's life. I know in a situation like this one can't always pinpoint an exact thing that led to this, but as someone who had drinking problems in my own past, I've come to look back and think that for myself, I did so many crazy things when I was drunk that I would never have done in a million years had I been sober. I know this man had to have something else going on, meaning he was completely happy and then got drunk one night causing this tragedy. There's always more than meets the eye. In my own life today, I'm able to have a few beers when I want, but I think there's just something so damned evil about whiskey that I never go near it anymore. It's one thing to be depressed, but then add in the alcohol factor, and it's like an atom bomb just waiting to go off. Sad story. |
