There will be a reading from the script at the awards ceremony, as well as a chance to chat to Mick at the after-party.” Ceremony held at Empire Cinema, Leicester Square October 19th followed by After Party at The Hippodrome, just off Leicester Square. Len Maynard and I had our first professional sales – two short stories – in 1974, since when we have been widely published with stories, collections, essays, novellas and novels. This is our first screenplay – so after 40 years we are an overnight success! This is exciting news for us. All I need to do now is sell the screenplay so it can be made into a movie or some sort. Trouble is I don't have those kinds of contacts. |
