The first time I ever even heard that word was when I was a receiving clerk at a drug store where I lived when I was about 19 yrs. old. Our Coke delivery guy who joked around a lot and was a really good guy called one of my fellow workers (who was sort of a woman power, all men are always wrong type of person) that name. He and I were both shocked at her anger over it. It took about five months before she finally stopped giving him the cold shoulder. I amde a mental note that day to make sure I never used that word under any circumstances.
