Which horror fiction would you like to see as a movie?

If you were in charge of choosing a work of horror fiction (novel or short story) as well as hiring the actors, etc., which works would you choose and who would be your big actors for them?

1- The Inhabitant of the Lake a short story by Ramsey Campbell-I've always loved this short story and although many of Campbell's great works I'm not sure would convert well to film, I think this one would.
- As for the actors (I'm terrible at this) I'll go with a LOST star and one from Heroes:
- The narrator, Alan- I think I'd choose someone like David Anders who plays the villian Takezo Kensei/ Adam on Heroes.
- His freind Thomas Cartwright- Henry Ian Cusick who Plays Desmond on LOST.

2- Night Stone a novel by Rick Hautala- When I read this it felt like it was structured just like a big budget horror movie (A good one though).
- Don- Bruce Willis seems like a good choice here.
- Jan- Maybe Marina Sirtis who played Deanna Troi on Star Trek TNG
- Wingnut- This is an important character but I can't think of an American Indian actor that would fit him at the momment.

3- Prey a novel by Graham Masterton- It would be a cool film I think, that wouldn't require a great deal of special effects to pull off.
-David Williams- Hugh Jackman who played Wolverine in the X-Mne movies.
-Liz- I think Kristen Bell who plays Elle on Heroes would be great here.
-Danny- Who cares it's a little boy who really isn't that important in the story except for David to have to worry about his saftey.
-Mr. Billings- Christian Bale from Batman Begins would be good.
-Brown Jenkins- Warwick Davis from Willow in monsterous makeup.
After all of this I think I might want to see Prey done the most but I'm not going to change it.

What are some of your ideas?

Any of the great UK actors would do.

Yeah, I had a lot easier time picking the novels I'd like to see made than attaching actors to them. I probabley shouldn't have tried to add that part. I really only picked ones that have been in shows I liked. I guess I wouldn't make at as a casting agent, huh?
