Mark, I originally proposed to pair that murderous plant story with the longer one. And the original manuscripts had that story tacked onto the end. And the guys at Skullvines originally liked it, but they liked the longer one much, much more. They said they didn't want to dilute the effect of the long story and its ending and wanted to put it out by itself. You know, that has a certain logic to it, so I'm back to sending "Mark Justin's" story again.
It's ultimately related because of the setting and time period, but ITCS, like a lot of the stories I'm writing about Bermuda, is a little entity unto itself.
