A Christmas Story, that is.
I would like to have a new Christmas horror tale for the December episode of Pod of Horror. I want you guys to help.
Here's my idea (and if you can improve upon it, feel free):
Anyone who would like to participate needs to sign up on this thread by November 1. I want to limit it to the first five people who register.
I'll start a story on the board shortly after that. Then I'll hand off the story to the next person in line, according to the order in which you signed up.
Sections probably won't be long, as I want the story to be 2000 words or less, a length that seems to work best for the show.
After the last person is done, I will finish out the story, then do an edit. I reserve the right to make any changes I deem necessary to make the story work.
Finally, I'll record it for Pod of Horror #41, giving credit to everyone who helps. There's no pay involved. If the story is ever reprinted for pay, then the money will be evenly distributed among the writers.
So what do you think? Can we get five people? Can we make this work?
I've been wanting to do a J&W board project for a while and this seemed like the perfect opportunity.
If we can't get more than a couple of you interested, then I will probably let the idea die, and we will never speak of it again.
