Any suggestions for great stories (or novels) for Halloween time? I know most horror could be listed here but I'm thinking something that really fits Halloween specifically. |

I also remember a Ramsey Campbell story set at Halloween called, The Guy. I can'rt remember much about it now but I think it had something to do with a paper- mache figure that was to burned in a bon fire to celebrate Guy Fawkes Night. i think it was some sort of British tradition or something. I may have to reread that one. |

Coincidentally, Leisure has just released Halloweenland by Al Sarrantonio which is part 3 after Horrorween (which is quite good) and Hallow's Eve. |

And of course: Tesselations by Gary Braunbeck Dark Harvest by Norman Partridge Ms henry's Bottles by Rick Hautala (haven't read it but they say it's really good) Actually Tesselations, Ms Henry's Bottles and Hornets (part 1 of Horrorween) appear in Cemetery Dance's Trick or Treat. |

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll have to keep an eye out for some of those. ![]() It really isn't Halloween based but I think MR James' short story, A Warning to the Curious feels like a good Halloween-style tale. |
