Well, it's about that time. Time for the next book's pre-order phase. In this case, it's SMILE NO MORE, the story of Rufo the Clown's hunt for a few things that have been taken from him. Here's a few reviews to potentially whet your appetites. http://kurtmcriscione.macabreink.com/?p=124 http://www.famousmonstersoffilmland.com ... s-a-moore/ |

According to Larry Roberts, who would know, the books are shipping to him from the printers even as I write this, so they should be heading out next week. |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZJhCger33c Very possibly the coolest review I've ever received. Mind you, it's also the only video review I've ever received, and that just had me chuckling. Some of my favorite quotes: "Rufo the Clown makes Pennywise the Clown look like friggin My Little Pony." "Rufo the Clown is a relentless bastard." "The next time I see a clown, I’m gonna be thinking of Rufo the Clown. This is embedded into my brain now." "A shocking, well-written, thunderous, violent, gritty and often times funny, book." |

My copy just arrived! Yay!! I'm putting down In Laymon's Terms and starting right up on this baby! What a beautiful book, Morning Star knows how to put out a great cover! (Now if only Jim hadn't a drank so much coffee before signing my book, it would have been perfect! ) |

That's not the side effects of coffee, Tony. I just have crappy handwriting. |

Ha! Do I remember correctly, that Smile No Moore is the second of a trilogy from Morning Star? If so, may I ask when the next one is coming out? I don't want to miss that one and not have a complete set. Thanks JIm. |

Actually, my good man, it's the second in the Jonathan Crowley Library, which should be around 8 to 10 books all told. Next up is UNDER THE OVERTREE and after that the SERENITY FALLS trilogy and after that...well, I have to have SOME secrets, don't I? there's also very likely going to be a little something special for people who order SMILE NO MORE and SERENITY FALLS as well. |

Are you saying that there will be new editions of The Serenity Falls series and Under The Overtree? If so, where there be new content? This is sweet as I gave away to my son all three of the paperbacks of the series and sure would love to have a hardcopy version of Serenity Falls. |

Okay, so far be it from me to speak out of turn, but after a conversation with Larry Roberts last week while I was driving up to Horrorfind, there WILL be a trade paperback of SMILE NO MORE, as well as CHERRY HILL and VENDETTA. More details as I learn them. |

This is, quite honestly, the most exciting books news I've read this year. Everything you write is a must-buy for me, Jim, and it's been killing me that I couldn't afford to buy the hardcovers for both Cherry Hill and Smile No More. At least I do have my beautiful hardcover of Vendetta, inscribed personally to me! |

Honestly, Craig, I think I prefer the idea of people actually being able to READ my books, not just hear about them. So I'm delighted to make the announcement. |
