...is pure gold. Gary, I am convinced you could write just about anything you choose to and it would be terrific. This one has it all, scares, tension, revulsion, and emotional turmoil. And like the best of your writing, it makes you think...about much more than just the words on the pages. Thank you Gary once again. Thank you so much! I dedicated it to Brian because the story was inspired by throwaway line from The Rising. I was quite proud of the way it turned out, and was doubly proud when the story was awarded the Short Fiction Stoker. |
