This just made my day, so I thought I'd share: http://www.horrorreader.com/horror_read ... -horr.html I thought you might also like to know that, to coincide with the release of Mr. Hands, Leisure is reprinting both In Silent Graves and Keepers in order to give readers a better picture of the interlocking story lines and recurring characters that run throughout the Cedar Hill cycle. It's been a good week on the Leisure front. ![]() |

Leisure Books sent me a copy of this to review (along with Brian Keene's 'Dead Sea'). I was really looking forward to the Brian Keene but 'Mr Hands' could well be the best horror book I read this year. I couldn't put it down until I had finished it ![]() ![]() Gary - I'm new to your work, are there more stories set in Cedar Hill? |

Hi! I got home form work yesterday and found a little package from amazon.de waiting for me. I started it yesterday and finished it this evening!! It was an amazing reading experience. I usually shy away from tragic stories since I think that life is tragic enough and I don't need an extra dose. I also made the mistake of jumping right into the book. My wife was still at work and my daughter was at basketball, so I figured I have time to read a few pages. I ended up catching hell for forgetting that it was my turn to cook dinner! Worked dragged by today. I couldn't get you story out of my head. I probably own the only copy in Germany and I aint giving it up! no sir it's mine! I was very moved by the story. I have never read anything so tragic and at the same time uplifting. That is an amazing feat! I won't lie, I read the reviews and blurbs and thought, Oh god, I'll probably get very depressed and hate this book. I loved it. I'm also overjoyed that this came out as a mmpb! Those Cemetery Dance editions are costly. I hope that this is a huge success and breakthrough to a larger public. You truly deserve to be worshipped by the masses! ![]() I was on the very last page this eveining when my dad called. He asked what was new and I told him all about Mr. Hands living out at Moundbuilders. He said "I allways thought that Gary was weird" ![]() The cover is also a real eye catcher. Great packaging for a great book. Take care. Doug p.s. sorry for being so disjointed and rambling. It's late over here and I`m tired. |

Mr. Hands is freaking fantastic, Loving your work so far Mr Braunbeck. Soon as I finished Mr. Hands I picked myself up a copy of Keepers, almost done with that and then I'll get straight into Silent Graves. |
