...yesterday. Just getting it out of the box was a struggle, I've never recieved a package where I couldn't figure out how to open it without tearing the cardboard to pieces. It looks cool, but I won't be able to fire it up until Friday evening (or maybe Thursday evening if I make it back home in time). It sure does look and feel user friendly. Tt |

...and I just read that Google will start selling ebooks starting late June/early July. It will be web based so any e reader will be able to download them. This is going to really drive the market wild and I bet you will see even lower prices on ebooks. Tt |

I wish the biggest push in e-BOOKS didn't seem to be how can we get them cheaper. Mine are a lot cheaper than most on Amazon, etc. ... but I hate seeing them driven down and down...because people will still pay for Stephen King and Harry potter e-books and the rest (I'm afraid) will suffer. I'm also not at all pleased to see Google jumping in to sell e-books since they are already so cavalier about stealing people's books and scanning them. |

I can understand why you would have a problem with cheaper ebooks David. But would Amazon or Google even carry the same e books you do? Aren't yours exculsive? I know you can't get many of the books Horrormall offers on Amazon. And I'm confused about something, are author's royalty rates different on ebooks than paper books? Tt |

I seriously need to start considering the chance of saving up money to possibly buy an e-reader. Probably. The power went out the other day when I sat down at my jalopy to read Nate Kenyon's Sparrow Rock, and I was left staring at a blank monitor and consumed by a sudden urge to kill. |

Congrats Tony on getting the Kindle. I was a little apprehensive at first too before I bought one, but now it has its definite uses. I am happy that I have one and would not part with it easily. It has saved me some money and I have not had to give up on books. I still read in paper format wherever possible, but for those Delirium releases and books from other smaller publishing houses, I get them in digital whenever available. I wouldn’t mind getting them in book format, but those shipping costs were a real killer. Horror Mall has become a great source for me to get the more rare items at a very fair price. |
