Owning
a website to advertise your publishing company, book store,
or writing career is not strictly necessary. Print ads and
brick-and-mortar locations do just fine for thousands of
businesses, and the publishing industry was successfully
selling books before the internet was a byte in the Department
of Defense's eye.
