An internship at Edit Ink, a notorious scam operation
In
1995, I had the misfortune of working as a freelance book editor
and then in-house editorial intern for Edit Ink, a book
doctor firm near Buffalo, New York. The State of New York eventually
convicted its owners and associates for defrauding prospective
writers of several million dollars.
Edit
Ink was a bait-and-switch scam to which I was not a
knowing conspirator. Heres what happened.
