Special Return Engagement Starts Friday, December 15
The Quad is pleased to present a special return engagement of Jordan Peele’s provocative and timely thriller Get Out beginning this Friday.
Fresh off its two Golden Globe nominations and ranking highly on dozens of critics’ Top 10 lists, Jordan Peele’s Get Out is undoubtedly one of the standout movies of the year, and one of our favorites here at The Quad. Competing (somewhat controversially) in the “Musical or Comedy” category for Best Picture, this is a film that deserves to be taken seriously—both in terms of its politics and its craft. The Quad is pleased to present this special return engagement, a crucial chance to revisit this contemporary classic on the big screen with an audience. Daniel Kaluuya stars as Chris, a young man who goes on a trip with his white girlfriend (Allison Williams) to the estate of her exquisitely liberal parents (Catherine Keener and Bradley Whitford). Here he slowly becomes ensnared in a sinister plot. With Lil Rel Howery in a supporting but critical role.
