I'm 30,000+ words into book two, and an ancient god has shown up in Eastham, even as another is about to be summoned. I'm waiting to hear from the publisher who has "right of first refusal" and my agent. In the mean time, I've got eight chapters plotted out, which may take me close to the end of book 2, so I'm busy, busy writing away!

Stay tuned!

Good news! What is it about? I'd also be curious as to what you're agent thinks of it.

Book two ties up the loose threads from book one, including, as mentioned, ancient gods appearing in Eastham. Dylan finally accepts who he is (a demi-angel), and while he's trying out his newly discovered (uncovered?) powers, bad things are happening around him. Kith's followers start maiking themselves known and preparing sacrifices, while preapring a human vessel for Kith's arrival.

So far, Marisa (my agent) loves the first book and loves the idea of the series. Our last conversation was to possibly change this from a five book series to a complete trilogy and then use the other story ideas afterward. We both kinda figure a trilogy will be easier to sell than five books, though I wouldn't mind a stipulation that the publisher will take the trilogy and, depending on sales, take the rest of the series as well. I do want this sold as a trilogy as opposed to taking one book at a time. Right now, including the trilogy, there are another three books in the series. First however, we need to find a publisher!

Peace,
Gary . . .

I will be!

It didn't hit me until recently, but I thought I remembered seeing your name somewhere on the list. This will be my first Necon and I'm looking forward to it. I assume you're a regular and know your way around some.

This will be my sixth Necon, so I have some vague idea what's going on. It's going to be great to get back to Roger Williams campus, as the last two years were at the convention center.

Pray for the talnet show on Saturday night and not the game show. Don't ask, just pray!

Cool that you'll be there. I look forward to meeting you.

It was an honor and a pleasure to meet with you! I couldn't have asked for a better golf partner! I have written up my take on Necon in The Cellar here in Horrorworld and there is a couple of sections of the time you graciously spent with us and a picture of you that is posted. Please drop by and read it.

Thanks again for spending time with us.
