So it's been over a week since Festival of Fear. It's always a great time up there in Toronto as people are so excited to meet authors. Sure the book is free, but it's a great way (Medallion's idea) to get people interested in a relatively unknown author.

A number of people, including one Colum McKnight, were thrilled to see me again as they had gotten Forever Will You Suffer and loved it. Colum sent me a great letter after the con thanking me for being there and giving him a reason to start reading again.

For most of the weekend I had a line of 10-15 people who were overjoyed to get a free horror novel. Hopefully they'll love it and tell their friends and when the next book comes out, they'll be more than willing to plunk down a few bucks for it.

Speaking of books, Institutional Memory is coming out in a month (happy birthday to me! (October 1st for those counting)) and I'll be promoting it at various locations like Context 21 in Columbus, OH (September 26-28) and Philcon in Cherry Hill, NJ (November 21-23). I'm also looking to get to some libraries and bookstores so keep an eye out for that at www.authorgaryfrank.com. It will, of course, be available at Barnes & Noble, Borders, Books-a-Million, Amazon, and all your favorite book emporiums.

The book is a cautionary tale on the horrors of corporate life and offers one twisted theory on why people in corporate life seem so lethargic and apathetic.

The website, if you haven't been there in awhile, has been revamped and revised thanks to wonderful work by Deena Warner (and Matt as well). Go check it out.

And don't forget, the very exciting new anthology by the Garden State Horror Writers, Dark Territories is available with original stories as well as reprints by F. Paul Wilson, Kathy Ptacek and Charlie Grant. For a copy, go here: www.gshw.net.

Lastly, I'm working on yet another horror novel about angels, devils, good and evil. It's macrocosmic and microcosmic. More news on that to follow.

Catch ya all next time!

Peace,
Gary . . .
