I'm at page 260, and I'm in awe of this book. Often, there's some sort of rush to explain what's going on, but
Forever Will You Suffer is not in that rush. As the characters figure out what's going on, so does the reader. And you've managed to do it without making Rick look like a total idiot. There's a lot of bad stuff going on, but it seems like there's an underlying source of unpleasantness that will tie it all together.
I was a little worried that the Dallas character was going to come in and explain everything to Rick (like the Japanese version of
The Ring), but it hasn't worked out that way.
