I've gotten this from a few different readers. This is the official word from Stone Garden:

And for Scott's readers: There is nothing wrong with the StoneGarden Publishing website. The SSL certificate was re-upped this week (week of January 4th, 2009). Our tech support is on the job to figure out why browsers are noting this as an error. Also, we are PCI Compliant (PCI Compliance was set forth by VISA and Mastercard to ensure web sites that accept credit cards are subjected to a set security standard, thereby keeping customer information as safe as is possible. This requires a working Secure Certificate).

If you're willing to take the Publisher at its word, go ahead and try to order it despite the warning. If you'd rather wait, I'll keep an eye on it and give everyone a heads up when the issue is fixed. Otherwise, the book will be available very soon at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Target online, et al.

It's frustrating as an author to have so many people who desire to pre-order your book, but that are also reluctant to do so because of a technical glitch. Thanks for your patience on this, I do appreciate it.
