Maynard and Sims books just keep getting better and better, and Night Souls might just be their best yet. You are doing yourself a disservice if you do not give their books a try. I can only hope that there are more adventures in store for the intrepid souls of Department 18.

Equally taut and intense, Night Souls is an eye-opening read from two seasoned literary stars on the rise. Strongly recommended.

It's a great fun series. High on action and excitement - especially given the fact that the authors seem more than happy to kill of the team members during the investigations. It kind of adds to the suspense when you truly don't know if they are all going to survive.
