1) Victor, better off your chest than on. No worries.

2) That bacon... I don't... where are all the back and middle cuts? This is what we call streaky bacon back home and it's all fat, no meat. There's nothing to eat. Same in the supermarket, just row upon row upon row of streaky bacon. And yet people are paying good money for it. Although I will say it's put to good use here - no need to baste.

Every time I go on the Facebook I come away thinking the world has gone stark raving mad. Walking away from it probably isn't the right thing to do at this point, but... I don't know, I appear to have dropped stuff I'd rather do instead, in all honesty.

I just dumped a bunch of friends from Facebook. People I had grown up with. Since the election they've been posting nothing but conspiracy theories and repeating stuff about the "free stuff" that Obama promised to those of us who don't "contribute". They also boasted of having signed the petitions of secession.

I joined the judo club at school. I'm enjoying it. It's become more of an MMA club. But dearbaby zombie jeebus am I old and out of shape. I don't know whether to be proud or ashamed that during the grappling I only lasted 15 minutes. But I did almost get the blue belt to tap out. But then again, I knew he was going for the triangle choke and I manuevered myself right into it.

My folks aren't coming but my brother and brother-in-law will be here on Friday so we'll celebrate Thanksgiving on Saturday.

I remember when I was a kid and both sides of the family would come over - the kids table was the best. Me, my sister and our 7 cousins around two card tables! I can't believe the house could hold so many people.

I remember the huge get-togethers we had in Indiana when I was a kid. A couple of times we wound up using two kid's tables. Best memory from that is my great aunt (Grandma's sister, Mom's side) would make oyster dressing. There were maybe four of us that ate it, and I was one of them. Made me feel special because it was like she was making it just for me.

I never had oyster dressing but I remember cutting up bread cubes the night before Thanksgiving for the stuffing. My mother made sausage stuffing. I just like plain herb or corn bread stuffing.

It's pork stuffing for us. I looked forward to Thanksgiving every year just to eat my grandmothers pork stuffing. I got the recipe, it's not the same : (

It's been just Jen, my mom, and I for awhile. Last year, we had so much turkey left that we threw a lot out. We looked at cornish game hens but they were too small. We decided on chicken. We're going to have ham for Christmas.

Never throw turkey out. Parce it out into baggies and freeze it. Then you can make pot pies, soup, enchiladas or whatever when ever you want. mmmmmmm
