Jody, one thing I've learned from Mom when it comes to doctors is that you are your own best advocate. If you don't want to take something, don't. Find an alternative. When she was in the hospital a couple years ago, they wanted to give her Cipro (a painkiller) and she didn't like how it made her feel. She demanded and won the right to not take it, to have something else substituted for it.

Maybe it was one of the synthetics like Vicodine. That made me sick as all get out. So does Codeine and Percocets. Actually, any strong narcotic makes me puke.

Nanci, it was cipro. I looked it up and it is also used to fight bacterial infections around the bladder. The alleged doctors at Ohio State wanted to give it to her when she went back to the hospital with sepsis after an exploratory surgery.

Wait a sec. I was right about something. Shit, that was my once a year to be right and I used it on this. sigh

Just read that during his interview with Anne Hathaway, David Letterman gave away the ending to The Dark Knight Rises. That is a movie I want to know nothing about going in.

Yes.

I came in this morning and discovered that they made some material last night that I had to reject. Then two employee's got into a scuffle and I had to keep them apart, had to have a meeting to work it out and now the police are involved. Then we had a huge thunderstorm, it blew out a compressor motor, then it took the whole plant down. We got back up and it went down again, this time staying down. I was scared crapless because we couldn't figure out what was happening. Then, some of the lights came back on and just flickered, then half the buildings 110 worked, but none of the 220 or 480. We finally got to the transformers and figured out at least one leg was missing but the power company couldn't say it was their fault. If we lost our transformers we were in deep shit. But they said they'd send someone out and two hours later the lights came back on. In the meantime I sent everyone home and canceled the night shift. Which means tomorrow we got another start up and I am praying everything comes back up.

So tomorrow I am going to go to work very early, make sure everythings up and running with no problems, then pick you up at the airport. I should be on time to pick you up depending on traffic. I just may be on the phone a lot with them if there are problems.

I'm really grouchy these last two days. 4 months of 50 hour weeks coupled with other stuff that's going on is finally starting to grind me down. I really need a vacation
