Keep losing my computer because all of the machinery in here to get the water out keeps tripping breakers. It's so loud I can't even hear myself thinking with all these fans and dehumidifiers running.

Lots of rain. Rain. Rain. Rain. It's wet everywhere out there this morning. Wet. Wet Wet. I think I'll do some grocery shopping just to get out of the house. Need green apples. And 81 mg of aspirin. Aspirin. Aspirin. Will do some reading and writing I guess, but it's only 9:30 a.m. and I am already bored. Bored. Bored.

Finished grocery shopping then digging the lawn up in the pouring rain. And man, it is raining like crazy, my cigar wouldn't stay lit.

It rained most of Friday here. At one point we had a truck in the dock that I was unloading and it was parked at a slight angle so all the water ran down the top of the trailer and off the end of it. I had to drive the lift through it several times and got soaked. Pissed me off to no end.

Yesterday was cold and cloudy. Today was hot and sunny. Typical Missouri weather.

Kellie put together a garage sale yesterday and today, and I had a little bit of stuff I put out there. I sold a kid who just graduated high school some of my football trading cards for $60. Made me happy.

In other news...

My geology prof is a smoking hot blonde around my age. If she wore 6" heels she'd be able to look me in the eyes. But then she opens her mouth....Speaks like a SoCal valley girl but with a deep Texas drawl. Very grating.

And yet another reason to get the fuck out of Virginia. Sold my jeep over a year ago. Today I get a notice that it was impounded and that if I didn't pay the bill it would be sold. Turns out that I'm still the registered owner even though I turned in the bill of sale and title. Guy I sold it to abandoned the jeep at the side of the highway. He never did register it.

Today sucked. I got up this morning and heard a meow really loud from the living room. I walked in to see what my kitty was up to. She wasn't up to anything but dragging herself around by her front legs because her back legs had ceased to work during the night. Yeti was a good cat. She was 18 years old and a spitfire until today. I called the vet and wasn't able to bring her in until 9:30 and it was 8. I sat on the floor petting her and talking to her and trying to keep her from trying to drag herself around. Other then the legs she was fine. Once I got her to the vet he told me she would only have a 25% chance of ever walking again. I couldn't let her suffer so I had to put her down. It was so fucking hard to do. I pretty much haven't stopped crying today. She was like a dog. Followed you from room to room. She would look you in the eye and knock something off the table. She talked constantly. It is so quiet now. I miss my family member

Thank you mister vet helper man who actually kissed my cat on the head as he took her back. Crap now I am crying again.

Oh man, I am so sorry for you Jody. Losing a pet is heartbreaking.

I knew it was going to be hard. I had her 18 years. But I didn't realize how hard it was actually going to be. I have called out her name to get her to come eat. Then remembered. I cleaned off the fur on the chair and then boo hooed because I realized it was the last time I was going to do it. My house just feels so damn empty
