To answer DaFratHo, this is a tentative list of my next works: Header 3 White House Gothic (can't start it till after the next election!) The Guest House (my take on the Blair Witch.Paranormal Actvity device) Sequel to HPL's Colour out of Space (set in modern times, starring Hazel from Haunter) An MR James pastiche which will be my homage to his "Haunted Doll-House";robably called "The Tenant of Bitton House" A modern sequel to James' Mr Humphreys and His Inheritance. A "Vinchetti" story about underground porn Wilbur Whateley's Gold: a novella set in present day about a "ghost hunters" type crew investigating the legend of Whateley's hidden gold from Dunwich Horror "Jennifer West: Re-Animator": as you can guess, Herbert West from HPL's story has an interesting descendent. "The Cellars of Wroxton Wood": another James pastiche An untitled gross-out sci-fi-ish horror novella based on a doozy of a dream I had last year. The Last Header: my final nod to the act of headers, which takes The Writer (from Minotauress) back to Crick City to investigagte the Crafter House; here he will meet Case Piece from Header 2, among others. I'm hoping the antic in this exceed anything I've done before. Untitled revenge novella about a girl with a bad complexion Possibly a sequel to Ever Nat wherein the unfortunate protagonist is STILL ALIVE and STILL servicing psycho hayseeds Untitled story about--you asked!--a girl haunted by sperm. The Bighead's Autopsy. The Face: occult novella about the Battle of Cowspens in the American Revolution And a whole bunch more. I even got a great idea in the plane back to FL last night: it involves a woman with a baby... Some of these I may wind up not writing; some will be replaced or postponed by others, some I'm sure I've forgotten to mention, etc. Once my mother's situation is stablized, I'm going to get back to writing hell for leather. It's so frustrating that I can scarcely get anything done. I'm VERY FORTUNATE to be this age and still getting lots of ideas, some of which I think/hope are my BEST ideas yet. My especial thanks to LArry Roberts of Bloodletting for being a good sport about deadlines; at least six of the above books will first be hardcovers by Bloodletting.
Thanks for your interest! Edward Lee PS-pardon the typos! I'm still searching for an amenable keyboard!

Two more Header stories, more mob antics from Vinchetti and Co. (poor Doctor), A return to Bighead, a sequel to one of HPL's most fun stories, a sequel to my second-favorite HPL story, a novel about one of the most interesting battles of the Revolution, and a bunch of cool ideas for original stuff. You seem to be writing with the intent of forcing me to give you a significant proportion of my future income.
I suppose I'll have to put off starting in on the horrific works of Nora Roberts for a few years, then. I thank you for that

Wow...an amazing lineup of future titles/story ideas...thanks for this, Lee! (by the way, based on you mentioning him before, I purchased a collection of all of MR James' stories)
I vote for the untitled gross-out sci-fi horror novella from a dream! That one has my interest. I really enjoyed WITCH WATER. The clear prose cleansed my palate! Looking forward to more M R James and HPL sequels. Fine stuff, sir. Fine stuff.

Well after just spunking in my pants at the size of this list, the fantastic forthcoming ideas, I then realised how much ear ache I'll be due from my wife when I end up buying all of these!
Nice one Ed keep it all coming, hope things are getting better and sorted out at your end.

That was pretty funny, Craig! As much as I wish his latest rant would be how he despises everyone here and refuses to post any longer...I DO take a selfish satisfaction after reading his ridiculous statements about how big of an assjack he truly is...don't leave, tym...don't ever leave!
Wow Ed, where the hell to start? Thanks for the hat-tip and the answer(s) - I still think it's great how involved you are with your fans in a forum format like this. Right away - the Bighead's Autopsy and the Vinchetti story have to be at the top of my list. Must haves, for certain. Do you have any kind of timetable for any of the stories? I know you can't rush things, but I'm just as certain you've got deadlines, too. I hope all goes well in your personal life too - I know that's got you bouncing back and forth up the East Coast quite a bit. If you ever find your way into Cincinnati (or northern KY), make sure you hit me up - first beer's on me, for sure!
Wow! Lots to look forward to. I purchase everything you put out there, but i'm especially looking forward to the Bighead Autopsy and the Vinchetti story.
You all are too kind! Thanks hugely for such enthusiastic support. Believe me, I'm so geared up to write all of these books, plus more. Actually a few days ago. while in MD, I got a cool idea for a short story. Once my mother is safely in FL, I will be a creative dynamo!

What a great line-up of things for me to live for.
Was getting pretty bleak there with nothing on the horizon for me to get excited about, now I can just see a whole shit load of goodness coming over the hill.
Thanks for the heads up Ed, you know if it's in print I'll be stocking it.
