I am fairly new to the world of Edward Lee but in the last 12 months I have managed to get hold of quite a few of his books and am now looking for the next purchase. I am looking at some of his other books that I don't know much about, ones that seem to have been mass market paperbacks and released as ltd hard backs also
I just wondered what people thought about them and are there any differences between the hard backs and mass market paperbacks I have heard hardback slither is grittier than PB
Slither Monstrosity Golem/Golemesque Brides Of the Impaler
What do people think and which would you recommend from that choice?
To the best of my knowledge, the only paperbacks that are different than the hardbacks are The Black Train (which is a milder version of Gast), Incubi, and Succubi. The hardbacks and Necro reprints have a little more. I'm not aware of Slither being any different.

Golem and Slither are both very good for mass market Lee books. I enjoyed Slither a bit more because of its sheer outrageousness and a twist I didn't see coming but they both come highly recommended. The other two I have not picked up yet due to lack of interest in their plots.
The one I think is the best on your list is Golem. Monstrosity sold the most out of the bunch, though they all sold pretty well. But my favorite of my mass market pb's is Infernal Angel. Anything of mine that you read, however, is greatly appreciated!
