You know how, if you scroll through your spam email the page will kind of freeze up? I just made an add for Affordable Hair Lose Insurance. Got me to thinking, there might be a market for that kind of thing.

More screwed up than I thought I was. I really need to hit the gym.

I slept wrong Wednesday night and did something to my back, in particular a muscle in the lower right of it. Icy Hot and moving around at work the last couple of mornings loosened it up a bit.

Then tonight, well, last night now I guess, a storm rolled through here and we lost power around 8:45. So I went to bed. Sleep wasn't restful because of my back, then another storm came through. It and being thirsty as hell woke me after two am. This storm may have been the loudest and longest yet this year. And to top it off, I'm now wide awake. Sigh.

It's our anniversary today, going out to some fine dining at a place called Richard's Bristo. It's our 34th (with a one year "get out of jail, but not for free" card somewhere in the mix).

It's pouring rain here and cold. I did manage to plant two ornamental grasses today though.

Bugs are eating my garden. I sprayed it, but I hate doing that so soon after spraying the last time.

My son messaged me and he says he wants to move down south with us in 6 - 7 years when we retire.

Nanci posted on Facebook one of the best commercials I've ever seen.

I'm going to stop counting the days to Necon because I always get it wrong. I'm just going to remember it starts July 22nd.

I was just fooling around on that last one.

Thursday, went to take a free kickboxing lesson. One hour. Boy did I pay for it. Still going to do it though. That and the BJJ lessons. Hopefully, the more I practice, the faster my body can come back from it.

I heard someone today say, "I wanted to go swimming yesterday, but it was too hot."

WTF? The reason people go to the freaking pool is because it's hot!

He said it's a big sucker, 1.1 CM. He prescribed me pain meds, anti-biotics and something to help my urine flow. It started off in my kidney but has moved closer to my bladder now; hence the pain in my testicle. I have to go back on June 28 and if I haven't passed it by then I will have to have a stent put in. He said I probably won't pass it although there is chance it might dissolve.

Earlier, I almost puked all over every room in my house. A lot worse than Linda Blair in The Exorcist.

There was a show on VH1, most shocking moments in rock. So I caught it a bit late, was down to the last five or six, I think. Anyway, it gets down to the last two, and I'm obviously thinking that John Lennon being shot would be number one, easy-right?

John Lennon's assassination was number two, and the number one most shocking moment in rock was Michael Jackson's death!

What! What? What!

Come on. Everyone knew they guy was injecting enough drugs into his body to kill himself one day. John Lennon preached nothing but music and peace, and that psycho asshole shot him in the back. No one saw that coming. I wasn't shocked at all when Jackson died.

So I yelled at the television screen and cursed myself for even turning it on in the first place.

I realized this afternoon that having a bad day is all about perspective. When I have a stressful or bad day at work, it's because my computer crashes and/or I miss a page deadline.

When Kellie has a bad day at work, someone dies.

Today is Emma's third birthday, and she seems to have decided to give Kellie and I a present as well.

She told Kellie when she got up this morning that she wanted to wear her Minnie Mouse underwear, not a diaper. She then proceeded to apparently potty train herself, as she has used our toilet the entire day, with no accidents.
