And the City of Sixes chapbook arrived today. This thing looks amazing. The art is incredible, and its signed by all of the contributors. I'm currently reading The Pig/The House, but as soon as i'm done, i'll be starting this one.

Has this shipped yet? I had mine pre-ordered and paid in full for a long time now, but I haven't heard anything. I emailed Dave at Necro but my mail was returned because his inbox was full...

Nevermind, just got it in the mail today along with City of Sixes!!! I can't fucking wait to read this!
A quick question...Does Necro bill you when the book ships for pre-orders? I could have sworn I paid in full when I pre-ordered it awhile back, but I think I just got billed for it now.
Yep. My copy along with City of Sixes came yesterday. I was giggling because it was finally here. The Infernal Series is special to me cause it was City Infernal that introduced me to Ed's great storytelling talent. The quality of Infernally Yours is outstanding!! Very well put together, and VERY well done. The built in bookmarker was a nice touch as well. I'm currently reading House of Blood by Bryan Smith, but as soon as I'm done, I'm heading straight to Infernal Town.
I pre-ordered mine from Camelot and I'm still waiting for an email so I can pay. Some day soon I hope.....Can't wait!

I was surprised and excited to receive mine yesterday. I was planning on putting it off until I finished reading "The Road", but I'm starting to think that that damn book is never going to end. I dove into it on my breaks at work last night, read four or so stories, and loved every one. Now I'm starting on The Senary. I was going to leave it till last, but couldn't hold off my curiosity any longer.
Hell yeah Ed! First things first. Thanks for including me in the special thanks in Infernally Yours. You know how to treat your fans! Started The Senary yesterday at about 11:00 p.m. and before I new it, it was midnight and 86 pages had disappeared! I had to stop because I was physically exhausted from remodeling my living room yesterday and wanted to enjoy this masterpiece at full alertness. Nice touch with the address as well as flawlessly incorporating your famous door knocker into the story. Can't wait to finish this thing man. Quick question though, the "about the author flap on The City of Sixes chapbook is the same one included with The Minotauress. Did you write this story that long ago? And if you did, did you already know as hinted in the story, it would become the prologue to The Senary? Just wondering. Gonna go pre-order Going Monstering now!

Hey Babaganoosh, City of Sixes is 10 pages of text in both in the chapbook and as part of the prologue in "The Senary". Short but way cool and of course it's nice to own the chapbooks too. After I finished "The Senary", I skipped ahead to the Charlee Jacob story, "The Shunned". If there is anyone on this planet who is more deranged in the head than Ed, it's probably her! So far, so good. Gonna read the Brian Keene story next, then probably Bryan Smith or John Shirley. Has anyone read anything by John Everson or L.H. Maynard or M.P.N. Sims? Just curious as to maybe some good titles to look up.

Splatterhead: John Everson writes very cool stories and books...check out COVENANT then the sequel SACRIFICE...and Necro just put out his THE 13TH and he just completed SIREN....his story in the antho THE DAMNED from Necro kicked much ass as well.
Thanks for the info Splatterhead, much appreciated. Got my invoice a little while ago. That bitch is paid for and ready to send! Very excited.
And yes, John Everson is great. Like Liquidnoose said, check out his books. They're great. I still need to pick up Necro's The 13th. It's next on this list to buy.

Splatterhead: Maynard and Sims have two books out with Leisure: Demon Eyes and Black Cathedral. I own them both, but they're still in my to be read pile. I'll give you my thoughts when I read them.
Thanks for the info guys! I am a complete dumb ass. I actually have The Damned from Necro and if my brain isn't completely dead, I'm pretty sure I read the whole thing. lol. I'll have to go and read the John Everson story again. Hopefully, I'll finish the rest of Infernally Yours today. This is a great book and well put together. I didn't even know that Gak edited books. I thought he was simply an illustrator.

Let me pimp John Everson's 13th...a really solid novel of erotic satantic horror...also Bryan Smith's DEPRAVED, which comes out Oct I think is my fave novel of the year...remember reading Ketchum's THE GIRL NEXT DOOR?? This had the same effect on me and it should become a LEGENDARY horror novel...and was honored to read Bryan's next, THE KILLING KIND and he does not let up...check out these two great authors in between all the Edward Lee fiction you read.
I just got finished reading The Senary yesterday and let me tell you, that story is fucking great. I mean I loved the hell out of it. And Lovecraft as the tour guide, very cool. Terrific ending too. I'm not just saying this, but this novella just sky rocketed to one of my favorite Lee pieces of fiction. It's that damn good. If you haven't picked this up already, please do so. It is essential Lee reading! And The Senary is being turned novel length and turning to The Sixtus for Leisure, is that right? If so, man what a novel it will be.

Babaganoosh: wow, thanks for the generous words--I'm thrilled you liked The Senary. Believe me, I had a BLAST writing it, and the novel-length version is really cool as well. thanks again!
