I've confirmed my attendance as a writer guest at the 2009 Sci Fi On The Rock convention for April next year. I'll be signing and selling my books, and holding workshops on writing and supernatural fiction, as well as hosting a session about script writing.

Sci-Fi On The Rock is Newfoundland's premiere science fiction & fantasy convention. The 3rd Convention takes place on April 25th and 26th of 2009, and promises to be the biggest and best convention yet. The Convention will take place at the Holiday Inn, located at 180 Protugal Cove Road in St. John's, Newfoundland

The main confirmed guest so far is Star Trek actor Vaughn Armstrong, who is noted for portraying thirteen separate characters in twenty-eight episodes over four separate series. He is one of only five actors to play seven or more different characters in the Star Trek franchise. His characters include a Human, a mirror universe Human, a Romulan, a Borg, a Vidiian, a Kreetassan, a Hirogen, two Cardassians, and three Klingons. He is best known for his recurring character Maxwell Forrest. He appeared in the second episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and the penultimate one. He has the distinction of playing the first Klingon on Star Trek: The Next Generation, apart from Worf.
