I loved ORDER OF THE SCARLET NUNS as a title...but BRIDES OF THE IMPALER sounds more rockin'....can't wait for new Lee!

According to the Leisure list of releases for the rest of the year, the two fantastic titles (Order of the Scarlet Nuns and Brides of the Impaler) have been dropped in favor of...

Certainly not Lee's fault but the other two titles had a great ring to them and this just sounds really generic and blah.

Can't we protest or start a petition? Rise of Vampire must be stopped and returned to one of its previous titles.

I mean, seriously, I would NEVER pick up a book with that title if it didn't have Ed's name on it. Never. It sounds like horror warmed over.

Using "RISE OF _________" as a title for any movie or book should be punishable by blowtorch to crotch.

Thank fucking god. I didn't want to be embarrassed to tell folks how good the new Ed Lee was because of the title. Like they'd look at me and be like: "Rise if the fucking Vampire. You're kidding, right?"

Jeez, I hope so, Paul. There will indeed be a hardcover by Cemetery Dance; not release date yet but I wouldn't think it'd be too much longer 'cos I've long since turned in the sig sheets.
